How to use style explorer and style your Flex application

Adobe has published on it’s website style explorer for Flex. It is a Flex application that can help you in styling your components. You can select which component you want to style, and then by using sliders, color pickers and such you style the desired component and app throws out the CSS needed for chosen style.

On the left column you have grouped components such as buttons, lists, navigators, sliders, form elements and so on. The second column is the style column where user can change style for the selected component, the next column shows you the styled component and the next one shows the needed CSS for selected style.

As you know Flex CSS is pretty similar to CSS used for styling web pages. But still there are some styles that components have that are not found in CSS for webpages. So this web app will show you what is possible for a given component in terms of style…
